Acapella Stock Reception dinner!

Well... You know how I have been wanting to start my business up as a party/event coordinator/ wedding planner? Well this past weekend my brother in law gave me the chance to practice! He wanted me and my sister in law (his wife) decorate for the Acapella Stock Reception dinner it is the dinner the night before his concert and he invites all his sponsors and groups that will be in the concert! We held the dinner at the Union Station on 25th street in Ogden so I wanted to stick to the old theme of things so I used Old doors, Window pains, Very old Suit cases, books and of coarse the Hard core AWSOME candy table (for my benefit of being addicted to sugar)! So here are some pictures they are not the best but you get the drift! I am sorry I was taking the pictures and i am not a photographer so the pictures don't do it justice! But it was really cool because the director over the events that go on in the Union Station came out and was taking pictures and asked for my number and business card because she wanted me to be able to decorate for events or whatever for her! So that was pretty faltering!Me, Renee (my sister in law) and Harmony (Kam's Cousin)The Rockin' sign in table!The sugar fix! I love this idea, we set out baggies and little candy scoops so people could take as much as they want!

This is the display table we did all the pictures are throughout the years of the Acapella show it was fun to see all the pictures from the past shows!

I didn't plan very well and we ran out of things to hang their big poster's on that all the bands had signed from the past shows so we used my old suit cases as easels! ha ha it worked!

I found these lanterns for 12.99 they are usually 30.00 I was so excited cause it made a great center piece! Well tell mw what you think and give me some good feed back of what you would have done differently so I can improve!

Acapella Stock!

Sorry this is a way long post filled with a TON of pictures!
My brother in law Jeff Petersen puts on this amazing concert every year called Acapella Stock! It is held in downtown Ogden on the old 25Th street amphitheater! it was a lot of fun this year! I am the "official" Acapella stock Massage therapist Jeffery says so I got to massage all the volunteers and the Groups that T-Minus 5 (Jeff's Group) brought in for the show, it was a lot of fun!

This group is called Hi-Fidelity they were pretty cool, they did the barber shop thing I am not a fan of that kind of music and I still really enjoyed it! It was funny they did the whole start trek skit thing!
These guys WERE AMAZING! This group is called Tonic Sol Fa! And all I have to say about them is truly AMAZING! They guy on the right is the base and he was so funny he came and got a massage from me he was really fun to talk to!

T Minus 5~ This is Jeff my bro in laws group well it is only half his group!
Do any of you remember "where in the world is Carmon San Diego?' Well This is the original Rockapella group that sang that song for the t.v show they are now called XRP but it was still cool to see them in real life because I used to love that show when I was little!

These girls sang the National Anthem acapella in the beginning they are in high school and they were so good the honestly were amazing ( I think i really like that word today... AMAZING)

My life has been kinda boring lately so I don't really have anything to post BUT my friend Rachael showed me this website and it was really fun and I love love love the Twilight series so I thought what the heck! It took long enough!

My garden has been rather frustrating I was so mad because I had not gotten any tomatoes on my tomatoes plants, the plant itself was getting big but there were no tomatoes! And then my step dad David planted his plants like a month and a half after me and he got tomatoes right away it was pretty frustrating so this weekend I went out to pull the plants out cause I was tired of looking at the dang things and this is what I saw!

I have six tomatoe plants and each plant has about 5-6 tomatoes on them! I am so proud!
